A bit about Kalyn...

Kalyn Harewood is a Barbadian American composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in the Chicago area. With a background in vocal performance and a Master’s in composition, her emotionally rich music spans film, podcasts, dance, and self-released albums. Known for her skill in melody, harmony, and sound design, Kalyn uses music as a tool for storytelling and social change. Kalyn owns and operates Black Opal Productions out of which she produces, composes, teaches voice, songwriting, and music tech.
